IT Room Conversion into a Science Lab – School Lab Furniture

This room had been an IT suite ever since the school opened in September 2011

Labform were asked to convert the room into a science laboratory, making use of some existing fixed furniture

A couple of tasks that stood in our way were:

• Matching existing cupboard doors / carcass colour
• Matching existing worktop colour
• Protection of the existing furniture
• Shorter working hours

Once we had been awarded the contract, Labform set to work on the programme, being mindful of the clients need for shorter working hours on certain days of the week

From the initial enquiry, right through to the hand-over, it was clear that Labform and Pakefield High School were going to be able to work well together with this project

Any minor issues were dealt with swiftly between the two parties

The project was handed over slightly before the agreed date, and we are sure that the teachers and pupils are enjoying their new science space
