Laboratory Refurbishment – St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic Centre for Learning

Following a lengthy tender process, which was required given the size of the project, Labform were awarded the works to convert the existing IT Block into a brand new Science Block

This was not a straight forward refurbishment – As you would expect, an IT Block would not necessarily have the appropriate drainage system, or indeed any gas supply that would be required for the teaching of sciences

However, with Labforms extensive knowledge in these areas this was not a major issue

Whilst this brought along many challenges, Labform were able to to deliver the project on time and within budget

Works Carried Out During Refurbishment:

• Complete conversion of stand-alone IT block to new science block
• New drainage system
• New mains gas supply
• Upgrading main electrical supply
• Installation of security and access control for the building
• 5no. New Science Laboratories
• 1no. Prep Room
• 1no. New Store Area
• 1no. New Staff Room
