Science Lab Furniture – London Oratory School

Summer 2015 (Turnkey Refurbishment)

Following a detailed project brief from the school and several meetings to tie down the detail of the work required, Labform were awarded the contract to refurbish 2 science laboratories at this prestigious school in London

Critical dates had to be met along the way to ensure we completed on time, as the client had previous experiences with other contractors leaving projects incomplete at the start of term, which is not acceptable

With a 3^rd floor installation, it is always is going to be tough, but our workforce are used to working within educational establishments, and the challenges that this brings, especially during term time (All our staff are DBS cleared)

Close working relationships, and the ability for the school to offer longer / flexible working hours to accommodate a tighter deadline and handover date were appreciated

Summer 2016 (Improving Educational Environments)

Minor works were carried out during this period on laboratories that we had not refurbished in the past – Small runs of benching with gas / electrical services and servicing of some existing Gas Proving Systems

 Summer 2017 (Improving Educational Environments)

Fume cupboard ducting was the need for the school this year, and this was carried out during the summer period also with little disruption

 Summer 2018 (Turnkey Science Refurbishment)

This project was carried out during term time, just after the exam period

A refurbishment that took in the following works:

• Strip out existing furniture
• Sanding / Polishing existing parquet flooring
• Decoration
• Supply and fitting of science laboratory furniture
